Sermon: “The Gift of the Light”

Scripture:  Isaiah 61:1-4, 8-11 - The light came into the darkness; Matthew 5:14-15 - You are the Light of the World

Theme:  The way to joy, freedom, and peace is to share the light of Christ through our words, actions, and joyfully taking part in sharing Christ’s Kingdom.

Question:  How can we hope to experience the fullness of Christ’s love if we are focused on ourselves?  What can we do to be the light of the world? What type of light is needed in our world (immediately around us) so that we can joyfully be part of Christ coming into the world?
