Sermon:  “You are My Beloved Child!”

Theme Baptism of Jesus – Renewing Our Baptism; As we recommit ourselves to God, we experience God’s commitment to love, heal, and renew us.

Scripture:  Genesis 1:1-8  God separates the waters; Mark 1:4-11  Jesus is baptized.

Questions:  How do we reclaim awareness of the blessing bestowed on us by God; that we are beloved children, welcomed and approved as God’s own? How do we treat each other as God’s beloved?
