USA and Beyond

We sponsor and interpret four offerings of the Presbyterian Church USA:

Christmas Joy Offering (December)
One Great Hour of Sharing (during the season of Lent)
The Pentecost Offering (Pentecost Sunday)
The Peacemaking Offering (October)

Support Presbyterian Disaster Assistance at the Advent Alternative Gift Fair
We support the work of Church World Service through:

The Tools and Blanket Offering (February)
The Fond du Lac Community CROP Walk (October)

Fond du Lac Presbyterian Microloan Partnership

The mission of this ministry launched in November 2008 is to lend money to the working poor for the sake of alleviating poverty. In so doing, we promote the entrepreneurial spirit and empower the working poor to better their own personal situations and that of others through the creation of businesses and jobs. This partnership embodies the spirit and passion of Christ’s work throughout the world.

A number of our members sponsor children in developing countries through Compassion International.

An Alternative Gift Fair is held early in Advent.  It is a way to give financial donations in the name of people who have most everything they need to local, national and international charities

Fair trade as a powerful tool for boosting living standards in the developing world.

In 2007 the Just Fare Market was incorporated at a non-profit charitable organization with the finances separate from the church. It is open Thursday, Friday, Saturday 9:30-1:30 and the second Sunday of each month from 9:00-12:00. The shop features fair trade handcrafts and specialty food products from many developing countries.
