Pictures from the First Presbyterian Church

The Deacons hosted the 2009 50 year membership event on Sunday October 25th between services.  Roland and Ann Herzig were introduced and presented with gifts at the second service by Pastor Tony.  Margaret Porter was unable to attend.

 

 

The Alternative Christmas Giving Project was an outstanding success and a wonderful tribute to the First Presbyterian Church members.
Grand Total including Outreach donations from the Gueller fund: $8,250.

 

The Angel Tree gifts are for the children who participate in Head Start programs and their families.  Thanks for the wonderful response.

The Deacons and volunteers decorated the church for Xmas on December 1st 2009

 

The Deacons' Cookie Walk was held December 13th, 2009 and was a big success.

 

First Presbyterian Church is home to Fond du lac's Just Fare Market.  Incorporated as a non-profit charitable organization in April 2007, Just Fare works in ecumenical collaboration with people from Fond du Lac area churches to help disadvantaged farmers and artisans find dignity and hope through fair and stable trading relationships.

 

In 2007 the Dream Team decided to pick one project from a long list submitted by members of the church.  The playground was chosen and fund raising began.  Construction started in summer of 2007.  It was an all volunteer group that brought this playground to life.  We want to thank Kim Braatz , her volunteers and all who donated to this wonderful project.
